Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment has released its January 2023 report on foreign direct investment (FDI). Here’s how Vietnam’s FDI sector is faring.
Vietnam’s FDI inflows started the year relatively slow. This, however, may be due to the Lunar New Year holiday which saw most of the country on holidays for a week mid-month.
That said, Vietnam did manage to kick-off 153 new projects with total registered capital of US$1.6 billion.
So, in January, where did Vietnam’s FDI come from? And where did it go?
